Three generations of soul singers- the O'Jays, Daryl Hall and Gerald Levert get together at Harlem's Apollo Theater to discuss their craft and the meaning of soul. Smokey Robinson recounts the origins of "Ooo Baby Baby" and clips of Aretha Franklin and Diana Ross and the Supremes take us back to the great voices of soul's golden age.
