Film 1. "Eskimo Artist: Kenojuak" is a film essay showing one printmaker's sources of inspiration and stone-printing technique. (20 Min.) Film 2. "The Living Stone" This film shows the inspiration, often related to belief in the supernatural, behind Inuit sculpture. The Inuit's approach is to release the image he sees imprisoned in the rough stone. "Sananguagat: Inuit Masterworks" The true art of the Inuit, the expression in stone, ivory and bone of their life and their animal co-dwellers. "Pictures Out of My Life" presents the work of Pitseolak, now in her seventies, one of the most famous of the graphic artists of the Cape Dorset (Baffin Island) artists' colony and co-operative.
