The Grateful Dead, Santana and Jefferson Airplane jam together and Janis Joplin appears with Big Brother and the Holding Company for an impassioned version of "Ball and Chain". Also included are classic performances from Woodstock, with songs from Santana, and Crosby, Stills and Nash, as well as the Rolling Stones.
