This series also focuses on traditional crafts like igloo building and kamik sewing; Lypa: Printmaker, sculptor and hunter Lypa Pitsiulak lives a day's journey from Pangnirtung, with his wife and children. Lypa chooses to live here, on the land, so that his children will learn about traditional Inuit ways of life. In this video, Lypa reveals his influences and motivations, including his belief that stone surrenders willingly to a skilled carver in the same way an animal surrenders to an accomplished hunter.
